Meeting: Monday, 12/1/14
At the beginning of the meeting we planned what we needed to get done and talked about meeting up during winter break and weekends, since the FLL competition is coming up soon. We split up and worked on programming, since most of the add-on building is done, and began emailing the culture and psychology professionals we found last week so we can include their answers in our research project/website.
Meeting: Monday, 11/24/14
This weeks meeting was optional, so don't fret too much if you missed it. We decided to meet to have extra time. We worked on most of the usual things like programming, testing, re-testing, and building. Noelle found professionals to ask about cultural differences and the psychology behind it. This post is a bit vague because the usual team blogger, Haili, could not attend the meeting.

Meeting: Monday, 11/17/14
We started out our meeting by going over what we accomplished during last Wednesday's meeting. Next we listed off what we planned to do during this meeting, and what we needed to get done in time for competitions. We plan on having a website for our research project that could teach about culture and create communication between different cultures.
Everyone split into groups like research, building, and programming, and worked for the rest of the time.

We started out today's meeting by splitting in to research and programming/building teams. Most of the team spent the time by gathering links and information and sharing it with the group, or working on programs and MyBlocks.
We ended the meeting by gathering and talking about what we did and what we plan to get done next time.

Meeting: Wednesday 11/5/14
Today, we started the meeting by discussing team color options. We still haven't decided, and the options have been narrowed down to pink and black, and purple and white. The idea of choosing completely new color ideas was introduced since we were having trouble deciding. The whole team agreed on a green t-shirt with pink writing.
Next, we discussed our research topic. Lizzie, Oliver, and Everett spoke about ways we could using learning and improving at learning for our topic by creating a program that would help kids with math. Joey spoke about why we should use bullying/dealing with bullies as our topic by developing a program to help bullying victims and manage bullies. Ashling presented her powerpoint about how we could use culture as our topic by creating a school website to learn more about other students' cultures. Lizzie and Oliver also suggested that we combine bullying and culture into one topic. We voted and decided that we will have our research topic as bullying mixed with culture.
Finally, everyone worked on programming for the rest of the time.

Meeting: Monday, 11/3/14
At today's meeting, we started out by narrowing down our research project ideas. Right now, we are deciding between:
-Reading
-Culture
-Math
-Dealing with Bullying
Members who feel strongly about certain topics are asked to come to Wednesday's meeting with an argument prepared to convince the team of why we should choose that topic.
We spent the remaining time working on programs, building robots, and making repairs to missions.
Introductory Post
Welcome to the iNation team blog! This is where our team will share what we are doing at our Lego League meetings and the projects we are working on. The blog also serves as a planner and record for the team members.
Our home page is where all the posts will be, but you can find posts easier by using the tags and archives on the right side of the blog. The team members page has pictures and information about our team. The research project page shows a bit about what we're doing for our research. More pages, tags, posts may be added.
